The program is structured to build a solid foundation in Information Technology and equip students for challenges of a futuristic world. Students are trained to apply the knowledge gained to solve complex problems. Exposure is provided to the latest trends in cutting edge technologies to become sought after IT professionals in a competitive job market.
The Program structure allows multi-entry & multi-exit facility to students. The policy for multi-entry & exit shall be as prescribed by the statutory bodies of the University.
Vertical mobility will be provided from certificate to degree programs to ensure career progression from one job role to the next.
Students will have the option to accumulate and transfer credits to relevant programs of the University over a period of time
The curriculum has been designed in consultation with the industry to ensure that the students are job ready and employable on completion of the course from the University.
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects namely Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.

While deciding the eligibility of the Candidates following procedure shall be adopted -
The percentage of marks shall be calculated by rounding off to nearest integer. i.e. if the percentage of marks comes out to be 44.50% to 44.99% then it shall be rounded to 45% and if the percentage of marks comes out to be 44.01% to 44.49% shall be rounded to 44% for deciding the eligibility.
In case the maximum marks in an individual subject is other than 100, the marks will be converted out of 100 for individual subject without rounding, If sum of the converted marks of individual subjects without rounding off works out to be a figure with fraction then fraction up to two decimal places shall only be considered for calculation of percentage of marks considering maximum marks as 300 and, If the percentage comes in fraction, then rounding off shall be done as above to decide the eligibility.
